Unused subscriptions are one of the fastest leaks in a monthly budget. The fix is simple: find what renews, cancel what you do not use, then keep a short list of what stays. This guide walks the process and links straight into StopScribe’s cancel playbooks so you are not hunting through buried account menus.

Use StopScribe for the exact clicks. Each guide includes official cancel paths for web, iPhone, and Android plus refund notes. Start at stopscribe.com.

A 15-minute cancel workflow

  1. Export the suspects. Check bank/credit-card statements for “recurring,” open Apple Subscriptions / Google Play → Payments & subscriptions, and skim email for “your subscription renews.”
  2. Sort keep vs. cut. Keep anything you used in the last 30 days. Put “maybe” items on a 7-day timer.
  3. Cancel with the official path. Prefer the provider’s account settings over random third-party “cancel for me” upsells unless you trust the intermediary.
  4. Confirm in writing. Save the confirmation email or screenshot the cancellation date.
  5. Redirect the savings. Move the monthly total you freed into savings or debt payoff — Cashly Prime’s savings goal calculator or credit card payoff calculator makes the win visible.

Popular cancel guides (StopScribe)

Platform-level cancels (do these once)

  • iPhone / Mac: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions — cancels App Store–billed plans (many streaming apps bill here).
  • Android: Play Store → profile → Payments & subscriptions.
  • Amazon: Account → Memberships and subscriptions (Prime, channels, Kindle, etc.).

Watch for retention offers — and annual traps

Some services offer a discounted pause instead of a full cancel. Take it only if you will use the service. Also check whether you are on an annual plan: canceling stops renewal, but refunds for unused months are not always available.

StopScribe’s free subscription tracker stays in your browser (localStorage) — handy for listing renewals without creating an account.

Affiliate placeholders (subscription helpers)

Apps that find or negotiate subscriptions sometimes have affiliate programs. TipsClips has no live affiliate links yet; slots below are marked so they are not mistaken for tracked offers.

Programs to join later (not signed up)

Cancel steps and refund rules belong to each provider and change without notice. Prefer StopScribe + the company’s official help docs when anything conflicts. TipsClips / StopScribe are independent of Netflix, Spotify, Disney, Adobe, and other listed brands.
